Draft terms
Terms of Use
Last updated: July 1, 2026. These terms are a draft for launch preparation.
Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your use of Apex Voice Notes. By using the app, you agree to these terms.
What Apex Voice Notes does
Apex Voice Notes lets users record or import audio, transcribe audio, and generate written outputs such as summaries, action items, follow-up emails, and speaker transcripts.
Your responsibility for recordings
You are responsible for the audio you record, import, transcribe, export, or share. Before recording other people, you are responsible for following the laws and rules that apply in your location, workplace, school, or organization.
AI outputs
Apex Voice Notes uses AI services to generate transcripts and written outputs. AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, mistranslations, or incorrect speaker labels. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.
Accounts and access
The current beta version may not require an account. Apex may add accounts, subscriptions, usage limits, or paid plans in a future version.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the app for illegal recording or surveillance.
- Do not upload audio you do not have the right to process.
- Do not attempt to abuse, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the app or backend.
- Do not use the app to create or distribute harmful, unlawful, or deceptive content.
Availability
Apex Voice Notes depends on device features, internet access, backend hosting, and third-party AI services. The app may be unavailable, slow, or inaccurate at times.
Payments
Apex is currently planned as a free public beta while reliability, usage, and pricing are tested. Paid plan terms will be finalized before paid subscriptions are offered.
